Dave Argus of Karas & Karas Glass and Cal Beyer of SAFE Workplaces discussed recovery-safe workplaces at the Main Stage. Argus and Beyer say that providing a safe and welcoming workplace for recovering addicts is the key to eliminating the stigma around addiction. Karas & Karas Glass is one such workplace.

Jenni Chase, vice president, workforce development, National Glass Assoc. and Jeff Dalaba, director of program development, AGMT Glazier Certification discussed common missteps and challenges companies face developing internal training programs, as well as strategies to make internal training more effective, improve work quality and empower employees.

Glass & Glazing Codes and Standards for Architects
NGA's Urmilla Jokhu-Sowell and Tom Culp shared that while there were no changes regarding windows in the 2024 International Energy Conservation Code and ASHRAE 90.1, energy codes are starting to look at renewable energy for new construction, such as solar, wind, photovoltaic or BIPV.
