100 lucky GlassBuild attendees won a backstage tour of one of the world’s most spectacular sports and entertainment venues. Hosted by NGA and sponsored by C.R. Laurence, Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope and Clover Architectural Products, the tour offered select winners a rare chance to go behind the scenes and experience the locker rooms, field, Skybridges, 100 Yard Club, and the 16-story glass “Window to the City” (22,664 square feet) that dominates one façade (floor-to-ceiling) with views of downtown Atlanta’s skyline.
Tour winners were also treated to an up close, insider’s look at the architectural glass and metal systems featured throughout this architectural icon. Experts from key project partners were on hand to serve as guides and highlight the glazing systems incorporated in the HOK-designed, LEED Platinum state-of-the-art sports stadium.
